Guitar hero 3 Legends of rock is the game for you if you like a challenge.

Guitar hero 3 has a few new features to spice up the game, one being the new co-op career where you can now rock out with a friend choosing to be lead or bass guitarist. The co-op career features a few songs that aren’t in the solo career which is a bonus. Another new feature is guitar battles, battle rock legends such as Tom Morello, and Slash to reach your goal of becoming a guitar hero. The idea of the guitar battle is to make your opponent fail by attacking them with power ups you collect throughout a song. Power ups include such things as snapping strings, lefty flips, amp overloads, and a few other surprises. One of the most impressive new features is the ability to play on xbox live so now you can rock all over the world. Dominate your opponents in game types such as face off, pro face off, and battle or team up to play some co-op online.

There are some slight hardware problems with this game, for example buttons on the guitar not working, star power going off for no reason and a few other things, but I suppose if you run into these problems you can always exchange the game. Guitar Hero 3 players will be happy to know there is plenty of downloadable songs on the Xbox Live marketplace to keep them going. Guitar Hero 3 is no pushover either, you will be challenged with some ridiculous button combinations that will keep you going for ever trying to beat your own and others scores. The game is set out into four different difficultly levels so all gamers can play at their own level. First we have easy which involves only three of the five fret buttons. Next we have medium that will introduce you to the fourth fret button. Hard is the next level up and uses all the fret buttons and introduces some tricky combinations. Then last but not least Expert, This mode uses all five fret buttons on the guitar and introduces some insane note charts that will challenge you no matter how good you are.

In conclusion I would recommend Guitar Hero 3 Legends of rock to anybody of any age group, well, as long as they like rock music of course. This game is addictive and will give you many hours of game play.
