Guitar Hero: Metallica

The latest news in the world of Guitar Hero is a little dull if you ask me
but i'm sure it'll still line activisions pocket with gold! Guitar Hero: Metallica has now been announced and set for release some time in 2009. There is no information on this game just yet but reading peoples opinions on GH: Metallica leaves me with the feeling it's a step in the wrong direction.

Call Of Duty 5

Call Of Duty 5 is now in development and so soon after the release of Call Of Duty 4. There isn't a great deal of information availible on Call Of Duty 5 but there is a video on xbox live that you can check out. I belive the game is still in the very early production stage due to the video showing you no actual gameplay footage.

Rock Band 2 : The Opening Act

Ever played Rock Band? Did you Like It? Well if the answer is yes then you're in for a real treat. Harmonix have announced that the sequel to Rock Band will be called Rock Band 2 : The Opening Act.

Rock Band 2 : The Opening Act sounds SWEET to say the least featuring a set list of over 80 songs and all new instruments to get you rockin'. The new instruments will include a sturdier drum kit, and a Fender Stratocaster reproduction guitar lined with faux wood-grain buttons.

We expect to see Rock Band 2 : The Opening Act on the Xbox 360 some time in September and for the Nintendo Wii, Playstation 2, and Playstation 3 some time later in the year.

For those who have spent a fortune on songs for Rock Band you are in luck, all songs purchased for the original Rock Band will be instantly loaded into your Rock Band 2 : The Opening Act song list so you have no need to buy all the songs again.

Rock Band 2 : The Opening Act has focused on improving the areas of the game that are going to give people a more exciting gaming experience such as the music and the community.
